1. What you are buying
The Sprint is an eight-week live cohort coaching and training programme for freelance creatives. Your enrolment reserves a seat in a specific cohort with a fixed start date, and includes eight weekly live workshop calls, the full course materials, and twelve months of access to our private Skool community from your cohort start date.
Full details of what is included are set out in our Terms and Conditions and in the Service Agreement you receive at enrolment.
Price: USD $3,500. Depending on the cohort, you may be able to pay in full before your cohort starts, or across two or three instalments falling due thirty days apart. The option that applies to you is confirmed on your invoice before any payment is taken.
2. Change of mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
All payments are final and non-refundable from the moment of purchase, whether or not you attend the calls or use the materials.
There are two reasons for this. Your enrolment removes a seat from a strictly limited cohort that cannot be resold once the cohort begins. And access to the community, the course modules and the resource library is granted immediately on payment, which means the service starts being delivered straight away.
Please read this policy and the Service Agreement in full before you pay. If you are not certain the programme is right for you, contact us at huw@thesprint.com.au before enrolling and we will give you a straight answer.
3. When you are entitled to a refund
There are circumstances where a refund is due to you, and they are set out here so there is no ambiguity.
If we cancel or postpone your cohort. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a cohort if minimum enrolment is not reached. If that happens, you choose between a full refund of everything you have paid, or a free transfer to the next available cohort.
If we end your enrolment without cause. If we terminate your access for any reason other than your own breach of the Service Agreement, you receive a pro-rata refund covering the unused portion of your twelve-month access period.
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure in the service we provide, you are entitled to a remedy under that law, which may include a refund. Nothing in this policy or in our Service Agreement limits, excludes or modifies those rights. If you are purchasing from outside Australia, any mandatory consumer protections in your own jurisdiction apply in the same way.
4. What does not qualify for a refund
To be clear about the boundaries:
Missing live calls does not qualify, because every cohort call is recorded and available to you for the full twelve months. Falling behind on the material does not qualify, because the cohort runs to a fixed schedule and recordings remain available. Choosing not to complete the assignments or implement the method does not qualify. Failure to pay an instalment, or removal from the community for breaching our conduct terms, does not qualify.
5. Cancelling and transferring
Before your cohort starts. Your seat is tied to the cohort you enrolled in. Transfers to a later cohort are at our discretion and are not guaranteed. If you need to move, email us as early as you can and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Deposits and instalments. Where a first instalment has been paid to hold a seat, it is non-refundable. It secures your place and takes that seat off the market. Withdrawing does not cancel instalments still outstanding, which remain payable in full.
After your cohort starts. You may stop attending at any time. No refund or credit is payable, and your twelve-month community access continues to run.
6. If we cannot deliver a session
If a scheduled cohort call cannot go ahead because of illness, an emergency, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will run a replacement session or provide an equivalent resource at a time agreed with the group. A temporary disruption of this kind does not trigger a refund, provided the full curriculum is delivered within a reasonable timeframe.
7. How to request a refund
Email huw@thesprint.com.au with your full name, the cohort you enrolled in, the date of purchase, and the reason for your request. We will respond within five business days.
Any refund we agree to in writing is processed within thirty days of that confirmation, back to the original payment method.
8. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, email us first. We would far rather sort it out directly than have it escalate.
Please do not raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us and giving us a fair chance to resolve the issue, as required by the dispute resolution process in our Service Agreement. Raising a chargeback without doing so is a breach of that agreement, and we reserve the right to recover the amounts and fees involved.
Our dispute process is straightforward: tell us in writing what the problem is, we meet within fourteen days to work through it in good faith, and if it is still unresolved after thirty days either of us can pursue it externally.
